Today, the 5th of May, Kyrgyzstan celebrates Constitution Day. The basic law of the country of independent Kyrgyzstan was signed on 5th of May, 1993 at the 12th session of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic by the legendary parliament. And today, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov signed a new Constitution and made a statment to the whole country. The event was attended by representatives of all branches of state power-deputies of the Parlament, representatives of the judiciary, the Government of the country as well as public figures.

Since the country still has a tense pandemic situation, the event was organized in compliance with all the necessary sanitary requirements. The invited persons underwent PCR test for the presence of Coronavirus infection. The event was live broadcasted by the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic, republican and regional TV channels of the country.
